During this meeting you will be collaborating with regional hospitals and community-based organizations to convene for a half-day morning event that will address and discuss relevant local topics to tackle the opioid epidemic. The three major areas of focus that will be addressed at this meeting include: screening of OUD patients in the ED; harm reduction strategies, specifically related to Naloxone distribution; and Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) warm hand-off best practices.
