Stark and the Anti-kickback Regulation in a Value Based World: What’s Next?

Location: Online

Registration Deadline: February 10, 2020

Overview

Online registration for this webinar has closed. Please contact HAP Education Services at (717) 561-5270, if you would like to register for this event.

Recognizing that the regulations under the Stark Law and federal Anti-kickback statute were created for the old payment regime (fee-for-service), the Office of Inspector General (OIG) published regulations in the 4th quarter of 2019 to update them for a value based payment world.

This webinar will address:

  • The “gaps” that will continue to exist under the existing Stark and Anti-kickback regulations until the proposed regulations are finalized
  • How the OIG has proposed to close those “gaps” in the proposed regulations and where it fell short
  • Where the lobbying efforts are focusing to impact the final regulations
  • Expected timing of final regulations

The webinar will explore the context and content of the proposed regulations and provide a practical perspective that will benefit both the legal practitioner and business executive whose duties require knowledge of this important and evolving topic.
