Pennsylvania Hospitals Recognized for Leveraging Health Information Technology

November 02, 2020

The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) released this year’s list of U.S. hospitals and health system as optimal users of information technology. The 2020 Digital Health Most Wired Survey recognizes organizations in Pennsylvania as among the 2020 Most Wired in the United States in the Acute, Ambulatory, and Long-Term Care Survey categories.

The CHIME Digital Health Most Wired program conducts an annual survey to assess how effectively health care organizations apply core and advanced technologies into their clinical and business programs to improve health and health care. U.S. organizations achieve the “Most Wired” designation by leveraging health information technology to bridge gaps to outpatient providers, improving patient access to their own health information, and improving the quality of care provided in their communities.
