If You Have Items or Services to Donate

The state of Pennsylvania has set up a web portal to gather information from companies and individuals interested in providing donations to support COVID-19 response.

Many hospitals and health systems across Pennsylvania have shared information about their specific donation needs. We encourage you to research your local health care provider about ways you can provide donations or other assistance.

Volunteers are best coordinated through the State Emergency Registry of Volunteers in Pennsylvania (SERVPA) We encourage you to register online and enter your information.

Donate Blood

The country is experiencing an urgent need for need for blood, blood products, and plasma. Maintaining the nation’s blood supply is critical to saving as many lives as possible, and donations can be made while still remaining safe. The health of communities depends on these life-saving donation.

The American Red Cross website provides more information about keeping you safe while you donate, and blood drives in your area. Online financial donations also can be made at the site.

Financial Donations and Volunteers Needed at Local Food Banks

Due to closed schools and record-breaking unemployment, the state’s food banks are struggling to support three times as many families as they did this time last year. For safety reasons, your local food bank may only accept food donations through virtual food drives. In addition, online financial donations are critical toward helping these organizations continue to support your community.
