Device-Related Pressure Injury Prevention for Health Care Providers During COVID-19

Many health care professionals are wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) the majority of the day due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are increasing reports of clinicians experiencing device-related pressure injuries from masks, goggles, straps, and other PPE. Specifically, serious injuries are associated with the prolonged use of N95 respirator masks.
