The first phase of HAP’s music therapy collaborative is underway, with five hospitals developing and implementing innovative programs to support the resiliency and well-being of their front-line staff.
HAP recently visited one of the sites, Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health, to see a music therapy session in action. Watch the video to learn more.
The statewide initiative is facilitated by HAP and supported by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Also participating in the first phase are Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, Jefferson Health, Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, and Temple University Hospital - Episcopal Campus. More Pennsylvania hospitals will have the opportunity to apply for music therapy grants during the second and third phases.
