Pa. Launches New Measles Dashboard

July 20, 2026

Pennsylvania has launched a new dashboard to track the spread of measles cases across the commonwealth.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Where things stand:  Pennsylvania has reported 114 total cases this year, and 10 new cases during the last week. Twenty-one people have been hospitalized due to the virus.
  • Nationwide:  Across the U.S., 2,231 cases have been confirmed, which is just behind last year's total of 2,289
  • About the dashboard:  The new state tracker includes cases per county, demographic data, hospitalization rate, and vaccination status. It will be updated Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  • Recent changes:  Last month, the Department of Health issued guidance to allowing providers to vaccinate infants as young as 6 months old.
  • Quotable:  “Through our public health outreach, we are building trust and making connections with people and seeing increased confidence in the MMR vaccine’s ability to protect Pennsylvanians and their community,” said Secretary of Health Dr. Debra Bogen.

Additional information about the dashboard is available online.
