March 27, 2020 CMS Delays Implementation of the October 1, 2020 Minimum Data Set 3.0 v1.18.1 The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that it is delaying the release of Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0 v1.18.1. The release had been previously scheduled for October 1, 2020, but announced it would delay the release in response to concerns raised by stakeholder organizations.
