HAP Expresses Support for SB 25 During Nurse Practitioner Week

In recognition of Nurse Practitioner Week, The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) is expressing its support for Senate Bill 25. The bill, sponsored by Senator Camera Bartolotta (R-Washington), would allow certified nurse practitioners (CNP) to practice to the full scope of their license without the need for physician supervision after they have worked under such supervision for three years and 3,600 hours.

3 PA Health Systems Selected for CMS’ AI Challenge

Geisinger, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and Jefferson Health are among the 25 participants selected to participate in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) $1.65 million challenge to use artificial intelligence (AI) to predict unplanned admissions and adverse events.
