U.S. Senator Pat Toomey (R–PA) announced today that he will not seek reelection to the U.S. Senate during 2022 and he will not run for Governor. He intends to serve out the remainder of his current term, which expires during January of 2023.

Senate Republican Policy Committee Convenes Hearing about Telemedicine

Today, the Senate Republican Policy Committee held a hearing about the future of telemedicine. Stephanie Watkins, HAP’s vice president, state legislative advocacy, joined representatives from member organizations, including Allegheny Health Network and UPMC, for a panel discussion highlighting the importance of telemedicine, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
