Federal Funding Overview Webinar with Moderated Question and Answer Session

Location: Online

Registration Deadline: June 17, 2021

Overview

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government acted quickly to appropriate $178 billion through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Provider Relief Fund (PRF). As hospitals are now preparing to report and justify use of this funding, we are still operating under unprecedented events and regulations. The importance of articulating the entire cost of COVID-19 is critical not only to cover the PRF, but also to support emerging needs in health care.

This 90 minute presentation is designed to cover:  1) the CARES Act Provider Relief Fund, the U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) reporting instructions, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs); 2) revenue loss and recognition of all costs of COVID-19 ̶ direct, indirect and stranded; 3) looking forward at health care funding post-COVID-19; and, most importantly, 4) your specific questions.

Please submit questions by June 16, 2021, to Jolene Calla, Esq. with the subject line: Webinar Question.

Registration is complimentary for HAP members.
