A Case Review of Common Scenarios in the Treatment of Medication for Opiate Use Disorder in Primary Care

Overview

Opioid use disorder is a common diagnosis in primary care and it is imperative that primary care providers gain experience with Medication for Opiate Use Disorder (MOUD). In this practical session presenters will describe their MOUD clinic that is embedded within their residency-based practice. They will then review common, but complex cases that highlight key management strategies related to ongoing opiate use, polysubstance abuse, and the use in long acting injectable buprenorphine.
