The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania, in partnership with more than 30 state hospital and health care associations, is excited to present a virtual summer leadership series for C-suite executives titled Leadership and Resiliency: Navigating Through and Beyond COVID-19. Join us as we bring six nationally known experts to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic crisis and share their expertise in resiliency, health policy, financial and strategic planning, unconscious bias, health equity, and the new health care ecosystem. Webinars will take place throughout the summer on Thursdays from 1 to 2 p.m. Attend all six sessions or select by individual session.
The next webianr will take place on July 9 from 1 to 2 p.m. and will feature keynote speaker, Marty Makary, MD, Johns Hopkins Surgeon and Professor of Health Policy. Dr. Makary will provide an update on the coronavirus, what’s next and how to plan. Dr. Makary, a leading public health expert at Johns Hopkins and Editor-in-Chief of MedPage Today, will review the latest on COVID-19 and what organizations can do to prepare for the growing epidemic. Using plain English, he will interpret the current data from overseas and U.S. studies projecting the impact in the U.S. Dr. Makary will discuss best practices of employee policies and how to adapt your business model to deal with the epidemic in real-time.
