Overview

Providing compassionate, evidence-based care to people who use drugs is always an important part of hospital-based care. In the era of COVID-19, offering MAT, naloxone, and connections to ongoing care is even more essential. This webinar will discuss best practices for MAT initiation, harm reduction, and telehealth in the setting of COVID-19.

  • Describe a model of ED and inpatient MAT initiation
  • Describe risks to people who use drugs in the setting of COVID-19
  • Name two harm reduction measures that can be taken in the setting of COVID-19
  • Name two regulatory changes that impact MAT provision in the setting of COVID-19
