HAP's Emergency Management Conference provides the setting for professionals in emergency preparedness to discuss the opportunities and challenges for the future, network and collaborate on ways to move health care preparedness forward, and best practices for responding to life-threatening situations to keep your hospital and communities safe. This year's conference will be collocated with HAP's Patient Safety and Quality Symposium. Hosting both of these events together will bring a diverse set of presenters centered on improving health care.

Election day is right around the corner and the HAP regulatory affairs team has been busy identifying our top advocacy priorities for the incoming administration. To ensure that our advocacy agenda reflects the priorities of members, we will be hosting a series of regional discussions across the commonwealth and encourage you and your colleagues to attend and share feedback. A large portion of the discussion will be focused on Pennsylvania’s hospital licensure regulations and what updates are necessary in light of the fundamental shift the COVID-19 pandemic had on the environment in which we operate.

The Pennsylvania Continuous Service Readiness Program (CSRP) is a joint effort between Joint Commission Resources (JCR) and The Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) to structure and implement programs by which hospitals can receive education, consultation, and feedback on an ongoing basis from JCR and The Joint Commission (TJC) staff.
