Take Action: The PA Heroes Act

Ask for support for the PA Heroes Act

The 291,000 members of the hospital workforce have been the backbone of Pennsylvania’s response to this pandemic. From testing and treating patients, to administering vaccines, health care heroes have remained dedicated to the health of their communities.

The PA Heroes Act would provide support to our hospital workers in the wake of COVID-19, while also planning for a safer and healthier future.

Join us and take a moment to send a letter to your state lawmaker urging them to support the PA Heroes Act.

Thank you for sharing your voice!

Want to support but do not work at a Pennsylvania hospital? Support your local hospital at HealthyMePA’s Take Action web page for community members.

More About the PA Heroes Act

The PA Heroes Act would allocate $650 million of Pennsylvania’s share of the federal Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds to support grants for the hospital community. These grants would be targeted to promote three significant commonwealth COVID-19 priorities—restoring the health care workforce, strengthening the public health infrastructure, and addressing behavioral health capacity.
