CMS Compliance Update: New Discharge Planning Requirements

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services recently approved the Discharge Planning Rule that made key revisions to the Medicare conditions of participation (CoP), which hospitals must comply with in order to participate in Medicare and Medicaid. The new regulations, which go into effect on November 29, include a number of significant changes that aim to help patients become more involved in their care transitions. In this webinar, expert faculty will review the changes and make recommendations for compliance with the regulations.
