Today, Governor Wolf held a press conference about the General Election, elaborating about the delay in counting mail-in ballots, adding that Pennsylvania may not know the final tally of votes today, but will ensure that all ballots are counted to guarantee a fair election in the state. He thanked Pennsylvanians for making a difference in the election and voting.
Tuesday evening, the Governor released a video urging Pennsylvanians to remain calm and stay united through the voting process.
Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar thanked the many volunteers for their tremendous help, both during the voting process on Tuesday, and throughout the week. She added that this year’s voting process was the smoothest the state has had, with few issues at the polls.
Pennsylvanians were asked to remain patient until the millions of remaining ballots are counted.
