This presentation will be a quick review of the roles and responsibilities of Pennsylvania’s 47 Single County Authorities. There will be discussion on key components carried out by SCAs and contracted substance use disorder providers, such as prevention, intervention, case management, and treatment services. There will also be discussion on how SCAs preform screenings, level of care assessments, and warm handoffs.

During this virtual roundtable, the panelists will discuss implementation approaches for staff and patient safety during the COVID response, including how already existing procedures and processes are being augmented given the recent DOH Order related to workforce safety
