HAP’s most recent economic impact report, Pennsylvania’s Hospitals Critical to State Economy, demonstrates that Pennsylvania’s nearly 250 hospitals and health systems continue to be critical economic drivers for their communities and the commonwealth.

The economic contributions made by Pennsylvania’s hospitals to local communities and the state have continued to increase, rising to $98.9 billion during 2010, up from $89.8 billion during 2008.
