The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, through its Center for Health Careers, identified the retention of health care workers as a priority. Providing career opportunities and positive and productive workplace environments have been identified as key elements to retaining health care workers in their chosen profession and keeping them working in Pennsylvania.
