Continuous Service Readiness Annual Update 2017

The Pennsylvania Continuous Service Readiness Program (CSRP) is a joint effort between Joint Commission Resources (JCR) and The Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) to structure and implement a program by which hospitals can receive education, consultation, and feedback on an ongoing basis from JCR and The Joint Commission (TJC) staff.

Program Objectives

At the completion of this program, the participant will be able to:

  1. Identify three new and/or challenging TJC and/or CMS issues.
  2. Describe three legislative and/or regulatory issues impacting health care in Pennsylvania.
  3. Discuss two leadership competencies in a changing health care environment.
  4. Apply two life safety and two clinical issues in food/nutrition services.

Pricing and Registration


$220 - Pennsylvania CSR Hospitals

$420 - Non-Pennsylvania CSR Hospitals AND HAP Non-CSR Hospitals

This fee will be charged whether you elect to attend one day or both days. Registrations should be received by HAP no later than Friday, April 14.

The registration fee covers instructional materials, program room fees, coffee breaks, and lunches. The monthly CSRP subscription fee paid by participating organizations to JCR partially offsets the cost of this conference.

Cancellation Policy

Registrants are responsible for the full fee if cancellation is received after Friday, April 14. There is a $50 administrative fee on all cancellations. Cancellations must be in writing. No-shows will be billed. Substitutions are permissible.

Overnight Accommodations

A limited block of rooms has been reserved at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel for the nights of April 19-20. In order to guarantee yourself a room at the hotel, you must make reservations no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, March 27. After this time, reservations will be accepted on a space available, rate available basis, and you may not be guaranteed the group room rate of $119 per room, per night (single or double occupancy), plus taxes.

Please call the hotel directly at 717-564-5511 for overnight accommodations and specify that you are attending the CSR Workshop in order to get the guaranteed rate.

Continuing Education Credits

The CE application has been made for 11 credits (1.1 CEUs) to:

  • Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education
  • American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation
  • American College of Healthcare Executives
  •  Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
  • Certified Joint Commission Professional

Full attendance at every session is a prerequisite for receiving full continuing education credits. If a participant needs to leave early, his or her continuing education credits will be reduced.
